overseas authorities?
There are many reasons for getting
an apostille certificate added to a marriage certificate. The following
are a few examples of when this may be required.
- When emigrating to another country it may be requested that
evidence of marriage is provided.
- Your husband/wife may be of a different nationality to you and
proof of marriage has been requested.
- If your husband/wife has died overseas proof of marriage may
be requested in order to deal with the affairs of the deceased.
- It may be required for a visa or passport application in another
